I don't think this canyon fits the motif. It isn't very deep! 8) This is downstream of the falls I posted a couple days ago. Should I crop off the top? I like the echoing of the sky curve and the curve in the snow bank, but it is busy up there.

I would lose most of the sky (crop to about a 4x5 aspect :) ). The comp improves. I like the curve of the water in the FG.

Thanks, Ken. You should come down to the park with your 4x5 this winter!! The falls are best when frozen. Let me know--we can schedule something in the Midwest forum.

Paul, I was thinking of doing something at Starved Rock this Spring. Sometime in early May. A long weekend camping trip.

A simple scene but nicely captured Paul. The curves lead into the image well and the dusting of snow and the golden light all play their part! 8) 8) 8) :)

I'd crop most of the sky too...curve of the stream is great, along with the reflection and touch of snow!
