The B&W conversion really works for this image. I also really like the compositional imbalance of water to mountains to sky. Terrific foreground to background detail and interest.

Nicely done! My eye, first rest on the foreground ice chunks and then moves to the mountain. Visually ,I get a feel of balance ,which seems to instill a calming effect.

I agree with James....the f/g ice chunks lead wonderfully to the mtn & sky in the back.
