Fjallabak Nature Reserve, Iceland

I don't think I have posted in this forum before. This is an image in tune with weekly theme. This scene was photographed around two weeks ago. Clouds were rolling in from the north at sunrise, about 3 AM.

I think this is stunning. The layered effect is beautiful.

This has what I dream of in a landscape image. Textures, color, layers and shadows. Wonderful image, Daniel. Was this taken with Michael R. recently?

Nice lighting of the clouds. I also like the soft cloud forms contrasting against the hills below.

No, this was taken a few days after Michael and the gang left. I had a wonderful time co-guiding two workshops with Michael, but I needed a bit of solitute afterwards, so I went hiking in no mans land.

Thanks for the comments!

Absolutely beautiful. So simple, and yet so rich with layer upon layer through the image.
