Grotto Falls - Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee
EOS 1Ds, 24-70 @ 28mm, ISO 160 Inside Grotto exposure - 3.2 sec @ f/5.6 Outside Grotto exposure - 0.8 sec @ f/5.6 I just returned home after 3 weeks of solid travel and have tons of images to process in the next week before I'm gone again. Until I do, here is one from my Smokies trip a month ago. When I posted my first shot from these falls, someone asked if I took any shots from inside the grotto - of course I did The only way to get any detail at all inside the grotto behind Grotto falls without using a flash is to do the two exposure technique which I did here, one for the inside, purposely keeping it dark so that it doesn't look fake and one for the outside.
