Hi Landscape people :D I don’t get to post over here much, in fact I don’t get time to post anywhere all that often. This was obviously taken at White Sands National Monument. It was taken last year on a day trip from Bosque del Apache. I have the same shot with Heather standing on the top right of this large dune, looking left.

All comments, brutal critiques and anonymous viewing welcomed. ;)

I love it. Those ripples are great. The muted colors are nice too. Great S curve.

This has a wonderfully peaceful feel to it. Great just holding the detail in the shadow.

A classic white sands sensuous curve shot. I love shooting these - this one is very well done.

A great, subdued colour palette and a sort of abstract feeling that I always enjoy. The ripples are almost surreal.

Greg,

Whie this one is certainly nice, the one with Heather adds some needed perspective.

The S-curve makes the image! I wish there was a little more saturated colors in the sky. The image comes of a little pale. Maby that's how it looked like, but you catch my drift...

I like this even more cropped to the top of the shadow on the left.

That was a fun afternoon, and this is definitely a very cool shot. The patterns of the ripples accented with shadows from the late sun looks so neat.
