Schwabacher Landing - Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming, USA
EOS 1Ds, 24-70 @ 48mm, 1/125, f/11, ISO 100

Continuing with the Grand Teton theme - here is one from a spot that you have to go off the paved road a bit. This was taken at Schwabacher Landing on the Snake River. The Teton Range is featured in the background.

Now this I like....I like it very much :)

flowing water, Grand mountains, nice sky,

being there sitting on the edge of the water listening to the quietness would be the only way to better this scene.

Lovely shot, E.J. I see most of the snow has melted...some snow caps would have made this one even more special...like you could have done anything about that! :-)
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.

One of my favorite locations; you sure captured the beauty of the place in this image -- excellent. You mention a return trip in June, have you considered a fall trip, when the cottonwoods are yellow and often times there is a dusting of fresh snow on the Tetons? From my past experience, sometimes in June, particularly early in the month, the snow melt makes the Snake fairly muddy and the reflections are not as good as in the fall.

well, done, E.J!

FWIW, the bright object (fallen tree?) in the water is a small distraction that for a moment stopped my eyes from going back into the frame as I surveyed this from left to right.

Very pretty. Like others, seeing this and other images makes me want to plan a return visit. The water throughout the park was horribly choppy and gray when we were there, these images give me hope! :)

Wonderful image. One of my favorite locations. The only thing that could add to this photo is a bull moose standing in the pond, which happens at this locale occasionally though I've never seen one here. Nevertheless, a great photo. I can't wait to get back to Jackson Hole. Thanks for the memories.

Well done! This is one of my favorite locations in Teton NP, one could spend an entire week hiking around this area of the park.

Great light and shooting to you all!
