Well Van Gogh came over to work in England in 1873.

So maybe if he'd had more cash he might have visited Stonehenge!

This is done in Painter/PS7 using an impasto technique. I've posted a small detail picture HERE.

Brilliant work Clive and certainly reminiscent of Van Gogh, the blues are just right, the brushstrokes are vigorous and the colour mix, contrast and match. A pleasure to watch, thanks for posting,
