Ding Darling, Sanibel Island, Florida.

Time to post a couple from Florida. First thanks to Alex and Bill T for the get togethers, it was great meeting you both. Sandy, after having so much fun Louise & I will be back so next time take more Vitamin C we sure missed you! :D

This was taken mid-day at Ding Darling on an on again, off again rainy day but still really enjoyable. I just liked the look of this shot after I got it on the PC at home. Nothing fancy, not even technically that good...just simple.

D100, 500mm AF-S, ISO 400, 1/2000, f4, EV -.75, Gitzo 1548, Sidekick

It is just beautiful! The shapes of the birds are really pleasing. I am sorry my vocabulary is not good enough to express it better. :)

Minor nitpick, crop the top off by about 10% and the picture seems to tilt to the right a bit.

Very nice shot. I like how you caught them both preening and in relatively the same position. 8)

Despite your dissembling  , this is excellent. I might take a little off the left to center the birds.

George, I think this image has a lot. The black & white birds against a graduated black to grey Bg is just sweet. Both preening gives it a peacefull feel. great shot.

This is a nice shot. I'd do some cropping as suggested but the contrast in birds with the BG and preening are wonderful.
