Cloned out a "goose byproduct"

I was hoping to get some funny shots of these geese walking on thin ice, and breaking through, but I didn't manage to the timing right.
This guy looked like his feet were cold, shuffling back and forth.

Sweet shot, Steve. Whites a biit hot but that doesn't detract - much better to have the blacks exposed correctly. I wouldn't mind the bird a bit closer to the left edge of the frame.

Steve,

The blue ice makes a good backdrop for the Goose, nice shot.

These geese can be so funny when they are walking on ice. This image puts a big smile on my face. Thanks for contributing to the Motif. :)

Nice image. A slightly tighter vertical would be another alternative to bring the Goose into prominence a bit more.

Cool shot. Reminds me of the SH Cranes at Bosque that were frozen into the water each morning. They would use their bills to chip at the ice.

This guy definitely looks cold, Steve, from the foot position to the look on his face. This is a nice, unique look at a common bird with good composition and background. Only suggestion from me would be about a half stop less exposure, to eliminate the blown out white patch.

Brrrrrr
Does look a bit cold on the feet -- overall a very nice image. I like the use of ice as the BG.
