Good-day Everybody,

Great to be here! I am Lim, and I am a avian photography enthusiast from Singapore.

Here sharing my first post of a Blue-Throated Bee Eater taken a few months back during their visit to our island.

Shots taken with Nikon D100, Sigma 50-500 at 500mm, 1/250, F8.

Looking forward to learning from everyone here and further improved my skills.

Cheers!

Welcome. The wing stretch on this is a nice touch and the colors are great.

what a first post. welcome and very nice shot.
awesome colors
maybe just maybe that lighter circle in the bg on the right side could be darkened.

This is fabulous!! Excellent first post, it is truly unique. I agree with the suggestion to tone down the light spot to the right of the bird, but it's no big deal. I'm jealous of this one :D .

Majulah Lim! A very nice first post. Where in Singapore did you take this picture? In which area? I might visit soon and would like to know where to find the wild birds, the captive birds at the Jurong Bird Park does not do it for me.
