American Wigeon Anas americana
Santee Lakes 10-4-05

More and more migrants coming into town, Wigeon, Shovelers, and a half dozen Pintail this week. The late light looked great at lake 5 on Tuesday. Cropped 10%.

Lovely portrait Mike! :) Great details and beautiful pattern! I would clone out the dark area at the upper right corner as it is a bit distracting IMO.

Excellent shot, Mike! Love that BG and the moving water in front of the bird.

Thanks for sharing!

I did not even notice the dark area until other mentioned it Mike, perhaps just lightnen it a little rather then clone it. Very nice shot.

Great stuff my friend. I'll have to look at this at home since it appears too dark on my work monitor.
