Was shooting at Edinburg World Birding Center one early morning before work and this guy stopped long enough for a shot. Wish the background was a little cleaner but oh well.

Nice shot!  Lovely pose and good details in the blacks! It can be a bit brighter and I would consider cloning out the oof flower on the right. There is an noticeable sharpening halo.

This is a bird we don't see much of in this forum. Good detail and colour and I like the light. My composition preference would be to crop out most of the vegetation on the LR and clone the rest. Sweet Pose!

I would go for a tighter crop suggestion to reduce the cluttered bg ...
Nice pose with much detail, Kevin!

These finches are great, contrary to the name "lesser" and I'd love to see more of them. I have often chased them and come away with very few shots. This one has an engaging pose, so typical for these birds but unlike the common "bird on stick" perches we get with many passerines.

I love the direct look, the bit of seed in the bill, and the detail in the blacks. The tone does feel a bit dark to me. I'm okay with most of the background as it gives some color & texture, but agree that the bits in the far lower right pull my eye away. Great capture!
