Nick, apparently the owls are endangered in Canada, so we found a very cool site. Great image of course.

I have yet to get a good shot of these owls! I like this one, nice and simple. :)

Nick, great shot of these cool characters! Having two classic aspects (full-up and head-popped-out-of-burrow) in one shot is nice. It's also a warm image, which feels good as the temperature begins to take on a more winterish feel outside this past week.

Burrowing Owls indeed are endangered up here, and they are in dramatic decline in Alberta. I've never seen them let alone photographed them locally myself (although neither have I particularly made it a mission to find them). So your shot is meaningful to me in that respect.

Nick, the pair here is very nice. Very well balanced with the one in the burrow and the one above. I think the different heights here helps to make this one work. Congrats.

Nice capture Nick. They are getting harder & harder to find up here.
