Just another recent image from the La Jolla tide pool area. Since this image was taken around the same time as my previous post, I'm hoping some contrast adjustments have eliminated the washed out look.

I think the colors and tones look very good - nice contrast between the bird and surroundings. It's nice that you can see a little bit of the crack the bird is investigating. The eye looks a little lifeless, but the raised foot and the pose make this fun to look at.
