Just a wide-angle shot I found in my files, that gives you an idea of the Gannet colony.

Great shot Jasper. The colony is great, as are the incoming birds.

This is excellent! I love the perspective and your composition is well done, with the nesting birds coming down to the right corner and a nice spacing of the flying birds.

This is one beautifil shot! I love the FG of birds and rocks and LOVE the diagonal flight of birds!

I don't know how close to realistic this image is relative to what you saw with your eyes, but I'd be tempted to do a little more with curves, S/H, and saturation to give it a bit more pop even if it meant being a bit less realistic. This is one image that could tollerate artistic licence!

Still, the composition is tremendous!

Great shot! I like the formation of birds flying over the colony. Nice light, too.

Great shot Japper

Love the wide angle view. The addition of some birds in flight really helps too. A great environmental shot.

Where in Ireland did you get this shot as a matter of interest?
