 Norfolk Broads, UK. EOS 10D. Sigma 100-300 + 1.4TC. ISO 400. 1/800 @ F7.1 - 2/3. Just trying to sort through images from our trip to Norfolk in June. I never saw so many Grebes before! I couldn't resist this mother and chick, although the harsh midday light was difficult to deal with on the water during this particularly hot day. As you already say, the light is kind of harsh, but you dealed with it quite well. I would have liked to see an even lower angle, but that's a minor thing.
