Homer, Alaska
Nikon F100, 500mm
Provia 100 pushed one stop

While in Homer I shot half film and half digital. This was one of my film captures. Don't know if my scan does it justice.

Comments and critiques welcome.

Killer image with the mountain top colors, Jeff.

Nice work Jeff! I love the bird against the sky with the mountains below...the snow in the moutnains may have picked up a magenta cast or it could just be the quality of light.

This was taken toward sunset on a clear night. The mountains across the water were picking up the magenta cast as the sun went down.

This is super super sweet. I'm sure the original slide has even more detail than this shows. This would make an awesome large print. Congrats, Jeff! :)

Very nice Jeff. I'd selectively sharpen the bird, b/c there is a bit of a halo around him now. I really love the pink mountains in the BG.

Outstanding image. Backing off a bit on the sharpening would tone down the halo and make this one sing.

This is very nice......and to think that it was scanned. I'll bet the slide is a killer. Everything comes together in grand fashion for this one.
