Slight crop to eliminate fellow avian fishermen.

I finally got back to my favorite Pelican spot in better light.

I like the quality of light here as it hits the wings, but the forehead seems a little hot.

Yes it's still a bit hot, particularly the forehead though technically all under 255,255,255 :) I could do a linear, and normal conversion and combine them, given enough motivation.

As for a lower angle, I'd love to, but I'd drown trying.
This is shot from the observation platform at an irrigation weir, nicknamed "The Drowning Machine"
