This is a very popular bird in our backyard and I thoroughly enjoy feeding them and listening to their sweet song.

"My man Lance Armstrong" rocks and will win again!!! My husband is not a bit jealous because I don't look anything like Sheryl Crow! :)

Well done image of a very healthy looking White Wing Dove.

Goog BG and composition.

Kristi,
I watch the tour every day. Today's stage was kind of quiet but I cheered for the Frenchman to win on Bastille Day. Every day is exciting. I can't imaging what it will be like when Lance is gone.

Having said that, I find your photo to be very exciting. The color is spectacular, pose excellent and, for some reason, I find the photo a bit amusing. Perhaps it's that air of expectancy. I love it.

I love the tour and I can't wait til Lance is gone :P

As for the image, the whites are a tad hot, but the image itself is quite nice. The background is very well done.

I also watch all of the Tour that I can and am expecting Lance to do another breakaway very soon! Lovely dove by the way, Kristi!

Whites a bit over, but otherwise great.

A beauty, Kristi. More interesting to me than a bicycle race.

Look at you Kristi, the bird is comped really well. Not too big in the frame. Great processing and the BG is sweet. Agree that the whites are hot.

No way bike racing beats this. Great image Kristi, I'll take a good bird image over just about anything.

Hey Kristi,

This is one very nice shot! I would wish for a little more room on the left.

Hey....."Lance is 'da man!!!" Maybe you don't look anything like Sheryl Crow.....but can you sing like her? Great shot of a nice backyard bird. Love the simple perch and BG.
