Lincoln's Sparrow, Adirondack Park

In the northeast, this species is mainly found in the low shrubs within coniferous bogs of the Adirondacks, northern New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine. More easily photographed out west or anywhere during migration, I used pishing to get it out in the open from within the boreal habitat of this Adirondack wilderness bog.

Image looks best in my standard website size-400 x280, since it is cropped about 50% from the full frame (to exclude extraneous sky and vegetation).

What a pretty Sparrow, and a great pose with the head turn.

Good jobe getting him in the open. The bright spots in the Bg are a bit distracting.
