Snow Goose

EOS 10D. Sigma 100-300 + 1.4TC. ISO 400, F7.1 -1, 1/4000. 550EX + BB.

I just loved the simplicity and tranquility of this image as I looked through the camera. Hope you find it soothing too.

Beautifully done, Carol. I like the crop and could think of several more that would work equally well. The whites are displayed ideally.

As Sandy said, the whites are perfect here. I love the partial eye peeking over the back feathers.

Great Job!

Very nice Carol. The eye dead center works well here and would also work in the upper left with a crop from the left.

I saw this at school....but with the lousy monitors, I had to wait until I got home to see this for all its beauty. Those whites are excellent....and a 3D appearance. I can imagine touching this goose and feeling the soft feathers....before it nipped my hand....so much for the tranquility!!! Love that "sexy" eye peeking out at you.
