A pair of Great horned Owls nested in a space under the roof of the library in Huntington Beach. There are now 3 fledglings which left the nest a few days ago.

The stare draws my attention to this one ...
Despite the busy surrounding I like it, Richard!

Well done, Richard. Great expression, as if he's barely tolerating your presence. Perhaps a hair oversharpened.

Richard
I can really appreciate this one as there are several nesting in my area and it's really hard to get a good shot. The habitat adds a lot and yet you have an unobstructed view of the owl for a great natural looking image. Nice work....hope you got some of the owlets!!

This looks like it could have been a tough shot to get. You did well to avoid a steep angle, get a clear view of the owl, and capture an interesting pose. Nice shot.

Well done! Good luck on the branchers.
