Though I was okay with it, I went with the consensus and added a bit to the right. I also applied the median filter to most of the background to deal with what some felt was objectionable noise. It doesn't show up on my monitor, but my husband said it is when viewed on on his laptop. I do think the resulting image is an improvement -- thanks.

The original is below.

Hope you can stand yet another snowy egret from the STL AF workshop. This one is not so colorful, but I like that graceful wing.

Comments appreciated.

Amazing detail in that wing. The low lighting is quite moody. I like that you can see where he took off from but do wish for just a bit more space in front for him to fly in to. Overall very nice image.

I agree with Cindy, a bit more room in front would help this one. Looks a little noisy too.

I like the image alot Christina... just wish for more room in front, adding canvas would be pretty simple and strengthen the image. Suggestion not a nit. :)

Nice to meet you at THE Mulberry Tree last night. How did the Black Throated come out?????????? Sweet image, would like a little more room on the right. Great detail in the whites.

Beautiful take off shot, Christina! Perfect exposure and good detail
A tad more room in the front would put this over the top.

Very nice flight shot. I like the position and detail of the wing. AF isn't the easiest of places to shoot. The repost is most definitely better.
