I have been so jealous with all the Osprey shots over the past week, sometimes having to work is such a drag !!

After a rainy 2 days on the Island the afternoon cleared enough for me to give the Ospreys a try for the first time with the 500mm.

I know I cooked his leg a bit but it was the only shot with a juicy fish.

Thanks for looking.
Lou

OK.. I put my meager PS Skills to work and came up with this.

Wonderful action captured here. I like the position of the bird. Pretty over-done the exposure, though. Could benefit from a little CCW rotation.

A shame the exposure is a little off, the action is great.

Great timing to get him coming out of the water with the fish.

Great action shot. The whites a little bit hot...if not, it would have been perfect.

Amazing action captured, Lou. The catch makes-up for the exposure.

This is really great. Getting an Osprey coming up from a dive with a fish has been on my 'to do' list for quite some time. I agree it's a bit hot and needs some rotation but this is still a fine bird image.
