Taken with a Nikon D1X
1/250 F7 Aperture Priority ISO 200 Mikon 600mm F4 This was my first experience photographing the whooping crane. In 1941 there were only 15. Now the total is higher and there are about 20 in the Lake Kissimee area. They are in other areas as well and the number has grown. It is a real privelge to see these beautiful creatures.
