Motif (Quasi) - Canary - Butterfly World

I only get grackles and pigeons (an occasional jay) in my backyard. In summer I get woody's and jays. Nothing really interesting. So, I'll opt for the next best thing... Butterfly World. This canary was shot in the aviary at Butterfly World in a backyard like setting. Lighting was poor and my flash batteries croaked. So this is incident lighting only at ISO 800. Got a bit of blur on the tail. Don't know if it is the canary or me responsible for that...

Nice one, Pete. You might have framed this to avoid much of the table below and to move the bird right in the frame. A head turn would have been nice.

This is a nice shot and a head turn would be nice, but dosen't always happen.

Mike, dont pin the blury tail on the poo canary, it's your f5.6, you'd need at least f 8, probably more to get the tail in focus. I remember I was with you that day. Nice shot!!!!
