Trying to achieve a flying portrait, hope I have not oversharpen it again.

Thank you for viewing and please comment bruntly as usual.

Griffin.

P.S. May be I have set the JPEG quailty too high so I cannot upload via NSN due to 143360 bytes limit.

P.P.S. "Poor" is not in the signature but still existing "stealthly" somewhere else.

Griffin, 120 KB is the max you can upload using NSN's server.

A nice flying portrait. I wish you were able to get the wings in focus with more DOF.

I like the possibilities of this. The focus seems to be a bit off though and their is a bit of a sharpening halo.

Great idea. I find the crop a bit awkward, but not sure how to improve it.

I'm not sure about the crop. Interesting idea but I think either a little less or a lot more of the bird might be better.

Rather soft as is.
The soft wing is probably due to motion blur (your ss was 1/640s only!) rather than insufficient dof here. May want to see a bit more of the wing and room at bottom wrt comp, Griffin!

I like the comp. Maybe a little more room for the wing tip and its slightly soft to me. A million times better than anything I have.
