Ring-billed gull taken at sunrise in Cape Florida, while the rest of the Fab 5 took landscapes. I didn't have my flash on, sorry about that, but I kind of like the front light :D

A nice shot. There is really no such thing officially called a Seagull. This is a Ring-billed Gull.

The light makes these beautifully three dimensional
4 down, 2 to go.

Nice light on this, Fabiola. I like the diagonal lines of the beach too!

you should have asked me to use my flash. In any event, I like that you managed enough light to get the color of its eye.

Lighting overall is excellent.

The side-lighting makes the shot for me. Very nice.

Lovely image, Fab. I don't mind the sidelighting at all. Flash might have produced marginally better results. Try soldering your flah into your tripod or camera. It works for me. Just kidding.

A wee bit of flash might have helped but I still like it as is! :D

I think the directional light sets the mood for the photo. Very nice!

I quite like the mood set up by the sidelighting on this bird. I think it might be nice with just a kiss of flash to balance out those shadows though. Good job.

I like the lighting on this one as is. Fill flash might have helped some but I don't think there's enough of a difference here to worry about it. I like the mood as is with this one.
