The Cormorant looks great with the wingspan. The BG is a little busy and contrasty for my taste.

Nice pose and sharpness on the eye; as alan suggested some slectibe blurring of the BG may bring this up some more

The pose is absolutely perfect !!!! The combination of open wings and head position is brilliant !!!!

These birds are difficult to photograph in normal (ideal) conditions With harsh light it becomes a nightmare. Might be able to work some magic with shadow/highlight in PS then select the bird (very carefully) and use gaussian blur to eliminate the distracting aspects of the bg........ Then you post your jewel of an image in EHK  8) 8) 8) 8)

A pose this good deserves the extra mile !!!! 8) 8) Congratulations !!!!

The bird is great. Too bad the background is so dark and doesn't offset the bird more.

The pose and composition of this one couldn't be much better Georgina. I wish the background wasn't so busy but you take what you can get. Maybe a little PS magic would help that?

A very nice shot apart from the rather busy bg!

Well done, Georgina. I don't mind the dark bg.
