gadwell, drake, wingflapping, Oostakker, Belgium, sea-canal Gent-Terneuzen, same location as the moorhen-shot; the waves in the water are from a large passing by seaboat;
Nikon D1, 300 mm + 2X TC, natural light, cropped 40%

Hi Herman,
Excellent shutter speed choice has kept the bird nice and sharp with just the right amount of wing blur.
I like it.

My one nit has been mentioned on this one. The blur is great, just wish you could see more of the body with a turn.

I like the blur but the face looking awy takes a little away from the impact it would have had if it were turned towards you. Still a nice image to have. :)
