These guys were tearing the place up last Sunday One would get away from the group.... then take off and buzz the others in the water. Circle around and start all over.

At one Point Daniel and I had to get out of the way to keep from being hit!!!!! They are crazy birds !!!! 8) 8)

Comments welcome and much appreciated

I guess this proves they aren't captive but simply choose to stay in the area. Very nice shot.

I love the angle! I can't quite describe how I think the Egyptian Goose looks...maybe an extra from "Pirates of the Caribbean!" with Johnny Depp...Awesome Alfred! :D

E.J. all the birds there are flight able !!! I think they choose to stay and I don't blame them with all the pampering they get. Fed twice a day, different types of food including Romaine lettuce

I'm not used to their behavior Fighting seems to be second nature. The posture they assume is very funny. At this time they are laying eggs but the fish & wildlife do not allow hatching. They have to be removed. Strange politics.

last Sat. I saw them in the parking lot, and as I was getting my gear ready...4 of them started doing fly overs over the parking lot...but by the time I got the gear ready...the took off to the pond area...leaving my attempt at a flight shot for another day. :?

this is an awesome shot...btw
