Hello everybody,
found this Peregrine at Bombay Hook a couple of weeks ago. After having some pretty good breakfast he decided to pose for me and a couple of other birders...

Comments and suggestions welcome and appreciated.
Thanks for looking.

ps. I am amazed by the quality of recent raptor posts, they have been just awesome.

Christoforos,

This is a very nice shot. I like the pose with the head turn and the blue sky background. I might consider cropping a small amount off of the bottom to just below the diagonal branch. Well done.

Peregrines are awesome to watch in flight while hunting. But as a perched bird, also very handsome. Nice image. Congrats.

What a nice one. I think I'd do a little cropping off the bottom as well. You sure had a nice pose, perch and sky to work with....not to mention a cooperative bird!!

Nice bird Christoforos. I like the perch. Lightening the shadows would help bring up some more dark detail on the left side. Croping the bottom would help.

Nice catch! Adult peregrines are typically vary wary and my hat is off to you for getting a cooperative bird. I might clone out the distracting oof branches on the lower part of the frame.
