To get this happy holiday photo I had to go all the way back to the Great Dallas Blizzard of '03 when almost 4" of the white stuff fell here and brought the city to its knees (we do not do snow very often or very well here in Dallas :D ).
I share the sentiments expressed here by my backyard Wild Bunch. Thanks to all for a wonderful year of images and here's looking forward to another wonderful year in 2005.
Shot from my open bedroom window early morning. Nikon D-100, 500 AF-S f4, f8 @ 1/80th, ISO 400, Wimberly.

yes I remember when I was living in Dallas that a couple inches of snow would close businesses and schools.... :D
And now I'm living in a place where you have to continue 'business as usual' with 4 degree weather (not counting windchill) brrrrrr :|

congrats on this lovely pair Woody!.. and a great holiday season to you as well :)

Thanks everybody, for a wonderfully satisfying and educational year of incredible images and sharing of our common interests. It only takes a few visits to this forum to draw inspiration from the outstanding photos, expertise, dedication and passion it takes to get them. I am already looking forward to 2005 even as 2004 winds down.
