This was my first *serious* wild bird shot, taken back in the summer. Before, all I had done were static snapshots of extremely cooperative anhingas and herons.
Gigo and I were coming back from a landscape shooting in the Everglades when he saw the bird. He always carries the 100-400 and since my 17-40 was perpetually glued to my camera, he lent me his lens and stopped the car, I got out as carefully as possible, and next thing I knew, I'm here posting as frequently as I am allowed!!!!!! ( and having a great time too!!!)  f/8, 1/320, ISO 100 Thank you for your comments  |
