Hooded Merganser - Phoenix, Arizona
EOS 20D, 500mm

Taken this afternoon, this guy had been missing in action every time I have gone out this year but today he appeared and played with me and a group of photographers :)

Hmm, they don't look blue on my calibrated monitor. Is yours in cal?

Yes E.J., The edges are blue more than anything. And they are definately cooler than the other white patches?

Whites look fine here, as does the image. Not all whites feature equal R, G, and B values.
