Note the 3-dimentional squiggle around the pupil. Nature is just amazing.

Never knew it was there until I saw the eye. I purpose we change the name from Razorbill, to squiggly Eye :-)

You really had a "close shave" with this razorbill, Alan. (Sorry I couldn't resist. :) )
Excellent super close up image showing the unique looking eye.
