Just got back from Boise, Idaho. Shot early morning in dark overcast. Avocet taking off leaving some water droplets trail.
I wish I had more room in front of the bird.

As Ron suggested I brighten up the water droplets to make them stand out more , thanks Ron for suggestion.

Please click on the image for uncompressed view, thank you.

Great takeoff shot, Ludo. I really like the flight pose with the wings on the down stroke. A sweet background, and the trailing water drops are the icing. The pano format works good with the trailing water drops, and yes a little more front space would be nice. However, if you were to selectively brighten those little water drops, they would stand out more, balance the image, and perhaps diminish the need for more front space. Just a thought. Beautiful image!  :)

The brighter water droplets help balance the image, Ludo. In large view particularly, the need for front space seems to diminish. Well done!

I didn't see the original, but this version looks good to me Ludo! Lovely flight pose and the trail of water drops balance the frame well. It sounds like Ron's suggestion has enhanced an already very nice image!
