This is the same guy I have been shooting lately and was taken on the same day as the other - bad light and high iso. Still working on the laptop so be kind :D . This has been cropped a bit already so I am not sure if it will take much more. I like the intense look in his/her eyes.

MkII with 400 2.8 and 2x on monopod leaning against Subaru blind.
iso 1250, eval plus 1/3, slight levels adjustment. Thanks for looking and all comments welcome as usual.

the sharpest part appears to be the body, not the eye but excellent capture.

Like the pose itself, Dan!
Lots of noise and oversharpened ...

very nice shot. As the others states the noise is there, but I'm sure once you have that desktop going it will be easy to correct. So not looking at that, I think this is a geat shot.

nice one Dan!
I agree with the noise, but some is to be expected at 1250. I believe this is a crop right? the crop would accentuate th noise more.
Though the background and branches could be a bit distracting, none is in front of the bird..
I like that the image has a monotone look to it, except for the hawk.. very cool.
