Waiting for red deer in Scotland on a very overcast day, I saw this little swallow out of the corner of my eye - of course it wasn't going to sit on a pretty perch, was it! Still couldn't resist.

1/400 sec. F7.1. ISO 200

What a sweet little Swallow, Carol. Nice catchlight, attractive pose, and beautiful background. The overcast lighting was perfect for this shot - soft and without shadows. A delightful image.
