Photo taken at Laguna Seca Ranch in South Texas last week.

Nikon D810, 300mm lens, 1.4 TC, 1/400 sec at f/5.6, ISO 800.

There's lots of pretty birds in South Texas.  I believe the Baltimore Oriole is one of the prettiest.

As always, detail is better when expanded.

Beautiful image, nice background, Gene. I would crop from the top so the perch would intersect with the top of the canvas.
