Beautiful; I've only ever seen these as young or non-breeding birds. Normally I'd hope for more of a profile view, but this works since there's feature in the eye.

Lovely shot, Piotr. I, too, wish for more of a profile. I wouldn't mind a slight crop from the bottom.

I agree with the head turn and cropping. This guy is gorgeous....and with a wonderful setting. I always enjoy seeing a new species that I'm likely to never see......so a special thanks for sharing this one.
