Yellow Collared Lovebird Tanzania

This lovely bird is most difficult to capture close up. He's 5-6 inches in size and flies in flocks of at least 20 birds but usually all flee when you approach them. Got lucky here with a clean shot on this one. Cropped about 50% and the BG has been cleaned extensively in PS.

Also you probably have noticed I now have an avatar entitled Goofy Giraffe which I posted in the Wildlife forum on Friday.

10D, 600IS, 1.4x, ISO 400, EV-1, f5.6 no flash
