Motif: Blue-throated hummingbird

This was from a few years ago at Madera Canyon, AZ. Of the four species we shot regularly on the setup at the workshop the Blue-Throat was the most rare and prized on my list. I managed a few good frames of them.

Nikon N90S, 300mm f4 with extension, Fuji Velvia, 5 Vivitar 283s at 1/16 power. f20, 1/200sec. manually focused. The wing motion creates havoc with the AF system so MF is more reliable on a setup like this.
