White Tail Buck in the Snow #3

This is the same buck from my last post I tried some different crops but a square one looked best.

Canon 1D 500mm f5.6, Tripod Ball head Leveling Head Sidekick, Evaluative metering 1/60 @ f4, Manual focus.

This would be great in any kind of weather, but the snow streaks and the dusting of snow on his fur makes it absolutely awesome.

Great shot! Without the snow its a good shot of a buck. Add the snow and it is much more dramatic. Great capture.

Jimmy - great shot. Why did you use manual focus and how did you get your 5.6 lens to open up to f/4? :D I'd love a lens like that. Steve
