Bobcat (captive)
STL/Triple D Game farm

I leave from work tomorrow to head up to Jasper NP to shoot new subjects to share in FFM. I just thought I would post one more cat before I go. I think we shot this bobcat with everything from 17- 600mm. It was nice to have the flexibility to try different equipment and techniques and to later compare images with each other. Contrary to what many people believe about shooting at game farms, everybody does NOT get the same shot. Digital makes it fun to see how differently several people can shoot the same subject.

I look forward to catching up on all the images next week.

Canon 10D with 28-135mm @95mm IS, handheld, ISO 200, 1/250 @5.6

Cheryl,
Have a wonderful time in Jasper. What a great place. I want to return soon.
The low angle view of the cat really makes it for me. I like the low down view point.

Beauty, Cheryl. Well composed with great background and foreground colors. I'm still amazed by the quality of light so many of these in-forest shots are showing from your shoot.

Cheryl,
You are departing in style with this fine photo. The framing of the cat by the background trees and the low perspective makes this for me.

I might have called this the snowshoe hare perspective...

Killer shot- the low angle really adds a great deal to the image.

Excellent image. My only small nit is I'd like to have a catchlight.

Superb shot Cheryl, gorgeous subject and composition and the Autumn colours really set this one off to perfection.
