We came across this guy when driving back to camp mid morning. He made us wait about twenty minutes before actually throwing the dust over his back. Fortunately I shared the vehicle with a very understanding couple :)

Comments welcome and thanks for looking.

Another great shot of yours from Africa. This would not be the same without the back lighting which really accentuates the dust throwing behavior. Good going..

Dave,
To me the strong point in this image is the forceful stream of dust as it exits the trunk and the soft curve of the dust spray behind Mr E.

Well done Dave. The backlighting on the curve of dust is wonderful. A very fun shot. I really like the two curves here-the trunk and the stream of dust.

Another ele, yay! Very cool with that backlit curl of dust. Definitely worth the wait. Did you send a print to the other passengers??

Very nicely done, for reasons already mentioned. While they do this frequently, it's very difficult to capture as well as you have here - right angle and backlit. Also love the last little bits of dust shooting straight from the trunk.
