Bengal Tigers, 10 weeks (captive)
Black Pines Animal Park, IN These shots were taken at a private zoo in Northern IN about 7 or 8 years ago. After the tour had seen the cubs, I was allowed to take them out into the yard and take some pictures. I do have a few that included all of both cubs but I liked this one better because it put more emphasis on their heads and interaction and by the time I had backed up to get both tigers in the shot, the interaction was not there. I also did not have anything available to make the setting look more natural for the tigers-I was happy just to get some shots of them and get to play with them. This was also when I found out that I am allergic to tiger cubs (also lion and leopard cubs). Fortunately I am not allergic to my house cats. Nikon N90s with 80-200 zoom, handheld, Sensia 100.
