This image was taken at the Minnesota Wildlife Connection in Minnesota about four years ago, a captive coyote at dawn's first light. I suspect there are some color casts here but I worked on this for a while to try and bring it to what I remembered to be the scene. Unfortunately cannot recall the equipment I was using at the time; it is a scanned slide, cropped slightly on the right and top. Any suggestions as to how to color manage here most welcome as are any other comments or reposts.

Great looking Coyote, in nice light!
The colour looks pretty good on my non-calibrated monitor, and eyes.
The ear and neck are a bit hot, but otherwise it looks good.
A bit more room at the bottom would be nice as well.

Love the light. Wish I could see all of his legs, at least virtually. Great catch.

Hey Joe, despite the minor flaws mentioned I find this a very compelling image as presented.

Gotta love that light

Joseph, I agree that a little more room below would have enhanced the image. Still a very nice shot.

Great light, though a little tight at the bottom but you knew that.

I agree with the above comments about needing more room at bottom of frame, but I still love the image and the lighting is great.

Love the light here. Despite the problems it is still a fine image.
