When photographing RWBB's this morning that were nesting in cattails I barely noticed this frog move at the base of the reeds. Even after I saw the movement it took me several minutes to figure out what moved and then a minute or two to find it in the viewfinder again. It was camoflauged very well against the light colored reeds. I have others where I can see more of the frog but I prefer the frog peaking out from behind the reeds.

Dan,
Wow, that's a lot of lens for such a little guy but it certainly worked. I like the peeking approach but would like to see a little more face.

My only nit is the mess of light coloured reed at the base of the frame Dan as this catches my eye. Having said that, it doesn't hold my attention because I can't resist Froggie and his hide and seek pose.

Wonderful shot! 8) 8) :)

Superb. I like the muted colours here.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. You have a great eye (Dan, not the frog!)
