Ngorongoro Crater. Zebras come to the large water pool in the morning to quench their thirst. So do hyenas. I was lucky to be focused on this isolated zebra when he panicked and suddenly turned away.

10D, 600IS, ISO200, EV-2/3, space added on the right, cropped from the left.

Great action and I like the composition, looking across the frame. The exposure could not be better and fits the motif as well! Thanks for sharing your work here..

Excellent implied motion here. You caught this in really sweet light and the zebra really stands out against the background.

Great shot Jim. Lovely light, dead on exposure and a great action shot as well. You really got a lot of excellent shots on your trip. Thanks for sharing them here in Wildlife.

Jim,
Superior zebra shot. The expression, the sharpness and frozen moment brought me back to look more than once.
